Fees 

An hourly rate of $32.00 is charged, which includes initial review of request, actual research hours, and report preparation.  Charges for expenses might include photocopies, microfilm rental, postage, long-distance phone calls, mileage, and parking fees.  (Note:  No mileage will be charged within a five mile radius, which includes Clark County Genealogical Society Library, Clark County Courthouse, and Fort Vancouver Regional Library.  Parking fees and mileage are prorated if other client research is done at the same time.)

If research is for only one piece of information, such as one obituary or a specific document with full citation known, a deposit for one hour is required.  There is a half-hour minimum charge.

All sources checked are cited, even if information is not found.  The client is responsible for all time spent researching, whether results are found or not. 

Whether a simple search or several hours, any unused portion of fee will be refunded with final report.
